Default Home-made smoke that isnt deadly?

    Hey all,

I have an evening to myself tonight so i thought i'd make a bit of smoke in my kitchen to do some beamshows (its the only room in the house which doesnt have a stupidly sensitive smoke alarm)

i was just wondering if any of you knew of a way to make some light smoke that doesnt make breathing difficult??? i just tried a bit of olive oil on one of the hobs on my cooker (nice and safe...) , and the smoke was terrible! i only got halfway through the show 'the final countdown' before i had to bail

i know cigarette smoke isnt that bad, but i kinda dont smoke, dont intend to, and tobacco is quite expensive. PLUS i'd have some explaining to do to my girlfriend if she saw me smoking lol.

    I really need a hazer

    Cheers,
    Tom

Wal-Mart over here has a $20 fogger for Halloween that isn't too bad. It will get the job more than done for a "home" show. Otherwise you could find some buddies that smoke pot to come fog your house down. You might even enjoys the shows a bit more than before...

    Last resort... eBay...

warm up a bit of smoke fluid (for ordinary fog machines), I think that would do the trick

I like the pot idea, but i have doubts about how safe stoned-people and focused beams of light are when in the same room

Looks like i'll invest in a little smoke machine in the near future, or indeed just warm some fluid up or something lol.

maplin (kinda like radio shack, but more shit) used to sell disco smoke in an aerosol, but they dont seem to have it anymore

I use a fogger, but place shower caps over the smoke detectors when I need to (they are wired into the AC in my house).

As I recall, this was suggested by someone on PL some time back. It's worked for me. Heating chems on the stove sounds dangerous...

The stuff isn't dangerous drink it and it will make your stool soft... You could use a kettle or a humidifier filled with it (heat not ultrasonic).
