    Question

WOW! You can't just shoot off a one line like that without a bit more back story...

    this is the serie

my hotmail account was just hacked yesterday

my ebay account too... the pest sold some objects under my name and so...

luckily he did not think about paypal and so, and he didn't buy anything, that would have been horrible

I have managed to take it back under control, had his IP via ebay pssword change confirmation mail, did a geoip lookup, found out that he did that from a cybercafe in brussels...

Luckily enough, he didnt ruin my running auctions...

Never forget password security is not a myth, and please use numbers, capitals and so...

well I got a PM with title 'scanners' with this as the body:
    Code:
    Download AntivirusPlus for FREE now! Check you computer now!!!MG class=inlineimg alt=0 src="http://www.photonlexicon.com/forums/images/smilies/redface.gif" border=0 smilieid="2"></P>
(along with a link that I didn't re-post here, for security)
To me it looked like classic phishing.

then when I replied 'what' I got this back

    Code:
Your computer is running slower than normal, maybe it is infected with Viruses, Adware or Spyware. Check you computer now!!!
along with another link. Again, classic phishing.

AntivirusPlus is the same brand as Antivirus 2008 and 2009, a virus suite from the most difficult ones to erase

He said it was the computer he was on injecting it, he's since switched computers and things seem OK.

    Sure!

And even if I DID decide to steal it... I'd just buy a bunch of flexmod's / flexdrives anyway.... money back in your pocket!
