Laser (the acronym derived from Light Amplification by Stimulated Emissions of Radiation) is a spectacular manifestation of this process. It is a source which emits a kind of light of unrivaled purity and intensity not found in any of the previously known sources of radiation. - Lasers & Non-Linear Optics, B.B. Laud.

Actually I like it, the older theme looked a little dated. Although the type face does look a little small but then theres CTRL + to zoom in and out which works on most browsers.

    Change is good.

I don't like it it looks bland - just like many other hundreds of boards out there. Sorry admin!

I also agree a bigger font would be nice.

Actually its OK, I can read the forum now:

How about this for a skin (free) - its a bit colourful but I kind of thought it fitted in with the colour laser theme:

I'm sure there are many others if not with a search around. I tried to find a laser themed one but couldn't.

I think instead of using free themes why not create your own that is related to lasers? It could be based on a free one, with the original authors permission, and just change the header images and colours. A little bit of css knowledge and it can be done quite easily.

I can't do it but I don't know if admin can. We certainly should have no shortage of beam show pics for a background.

    Steady on chaps.
Why not follow Google's example and keep things nice and clear without garish backgrounds etc.

I'll have a play with a design when I get some spare time if you like? I like slightly darker themes with sober colours. Such as here
