Default Heatsink for 15$ + Shipping

    Hi Guys.

I just thought i'd share this with you.

I am not the seller of this item

You can get a perfect heatsink for your DIY laser here: http://www.z-bolt.com/order/Product240
I currently have 4 of these sitting in my projector. It will take the aixiz module and hold it in place once the screws are tightened.

    Have fun DIY-ing

I wish I could find this place... They are within 15 miles of my house but the business address comes up as a house or a "UPS store" type place (rents 'Suites' aka commercial post office boxes). Otherwise I would go visit the store and maybe pick a couple up with no shipping. I might pick one up eventually to compare to laserman532's clamshell heat syncs.

I have been looking at these. They seem to be well designed, if a bit bulky for mounting as a combiner.

Default I have almost bought one many times...

I looked at these when I first started looking at diy lasers, but could not find an actual physical business to pick them up at. I am about 10-15 miles from the reseller/manufacturer and wanted to see them in person but no luck. Maybe I can arrange something before WeCoLEM so Laserman can check them out.

You can try and make your own like me, it will work; but good luck with any alignment or adjustment. Either way I still need a drill press .

I was pleased with these heatsinks, I am using them for red and violet diode lasers and they seem to work well. They are a bit bulky, and probably are a bit overkill as I've never even gotten them warm. They have lots of threaded mounting points on different sides so you can mount them in different ways. FYI , the mounting screws are M4 thread. Here are a couple pictures I snapped when I got mine, shown with an aixiz module.

    cheers-
