    Default 1watt CNI from Kvant help?

    guys just got my 1watt cni from kvant.

    it needs 2x inputs, what voltage is it?? 5 or 12??

    also ive brought a 450watt computer psu, im assuing wiring as showing on the pic isnt an issue?

    Hello!
    The laser needs 12V, complete there normally is a 12V 12.5A powersupply for both.

    Very Nice! How is the beam look? I thought someone said something about poor divergence from one of these big greens.

    this one had very poor diference and only 500 mw when it arrived.
    after some realligning and a new diode its doing 1.4 watts
    Do not look into laser with remaining eye
    Need laser repair contact me !!!!!!

    Mine had poor divergence, I managed to improve it a fair bit with a focus adjustment (still not fantastic, but quite acceptable).

    Might want to be careful with the parts on the carpet.
    Don't want any ESD shock to ruin your new toys :P

    lol I work at Apple so I deal with ESD safety all the time. Whenever we repair computers we of course are strapped in (grounded strap), have grounded chairs, and grounded mats.
    I've seen static kill devices in the past so I'm just looking out :P
