Laser Warning FB3 DMX to ?? and then to actuators

    Hi ppl

here i am again with my pics and questions.-

I have seen some posts about a GM20 card but i dont know if that is the correct way`?

Check my pic that i have attached and you see the "?" (Question sign)
What should i have there? I can understand some kind of card is needed but what kind and how
does it get the power?. My actuators run on 12-24Volt.

Does anyone know where i could get a card like this?
The dilemma is that i have a show scheduled on the 29th so i am in quite of a hurry.

My wish is to run this from LIVEPRO but right now it seems that my first show on the 29th this month
i will have to make my own "Pushbutton" switche´s hooked up to an 24Volt transformator. And when i want to turn the actuators ON, simply push the buttons.

    Thank you.

    /rickard

Unfortunately, the FB3 only has DMX in and no DMX output.

    hm?

Now im confused, i have 2 connectors on the back of the FB3 Box. one is female and other is male. Is the other one for "linking", then.?

oki. well dosnt matter if its DMX or not as i only want to be able to control my scanners and also the Actuators. That is one of the big reasons i bought the FB3 for the posibility to be able to control them from the same software that runs the Scanners.

Then my question is simply how to be able to controll my actuators from the FB3.?

TTL chases (and DMX Output) in LivePro are available when using with the QM2000. FB3 has (default) no other outputs than ILDA.

    See: http://www.pangolin.com/flashback/flashback3.htm (table at bottom)

Other than the scanners & beam shutter, the standard FB3 is pretty much "input only". Unless you bought a version with special hardware, you won't get control of other external devices from the FB3. If your box has 2 DMX ports, one would be for DMX IN, and the other for DMX THRU, so the FB3 could be part of your DMX device daisy chain.

The description of LivePro on the Pangolin web site discusses external control features that are only available with the QM2000 board. That said, the FB3 version of LivePro (which is considerably cheaper than the QM2000 version) still offers most of the same input and laser control options as the QM2000 version...
