I remember something like $1200~$1500 but I don't remember if it was the .5W or the 1W

I spoke to Rob earlier and recieved a few PMs from suppliers.

F*&%$£*&^%$***NG Norah!!!!!!!! and other miscellaneous expletives.

As it stands; approx $3600US for a 500mW module so, another 473 module it is then.

"The Core" - a 'reet good film. On par with "Event Horizon" in terms of scientific accuracy.
Question: What's the shortest distance between two points?

I especially like the part when they got out of the craft near the centre of the earth, as their special laser (that cuts through mountains etc, without creating any spoil) was halted by some crystals that had to be cut by hacksaw or something. No mention at this point of magma, molten iron, pressure or why indeed; there was no change in gravitaional force.

I need to make a list of shit directors and go to Hollywood with my boxing gloves and a camcorder.

unfortunately there is no quarter watt of the nichia 445 diode available. nichia just sells half watt or full watt. single unit is 330.000 yen. pretty expensive!

It is actually less than $3600.... and we can do 150mW 445nm modules as well, but they are not worthy at all when you compare it with price for 500mW.

    I was quoted 2235 Euros + VAT = $3535.74 yesterday for 500mW.

Shame about the cost of these diodes, lets hope that there becomes a reason for Nichia to mass produce them.

At the price of these diodes I decided to let Arctos do all the sweating.

Imagine your nice very very expensive diode sitting there. You would be too bloody scared to vene touch the thing let alone connect it to something like voltage..

The price difference was not that great at the time and I figured Arctos had way more experience than me so decided to buy rather than build.
