The BOOK was printed on demand, and LMR got death threats for doing the BOOK. It is probably no longer available, as few people ever hear anything from LMR now that he became VP of this defense contractor with water filtration stuff on the space station. Its a rags to riches story with 25 year career laserist changing careers and winning.

Cat, you have made a impression on me, because the number of folks I would even let handle the 300 pages or so, is small to say the least.

B4 anybbody asks, no, we are not going to ruin the binding to scan it in.
Nor would I violate the copyright.

Of course we might scan in the famous chapter 2, all one page of it.

Default This book really sound very interesting

This book almost sounds cloak and dagger type stuff. You'll have to forgive me, I don't know who LMR is, maybe we aren't suppose to which is fine. Thank you, it sounds like it was a good impression. Rags to riches story are good ones to hear about, it keeps people reaching for their goals. Cat

No, its a very professionally written book.

LMR + l. Michael Roberts, Famous Canadian Laserist,

And no, we are NOT related, he's South African by birth.

    Default Clarification............

I meant cloak and dagger in the way you and Adam were talking about the book. That it was some kind of code book that only a few knew about. I didn't mean to infer anything else. Cat

    Cool

It's a good read, Cathy. If Steve still has his copy and is willing to lend it to you, you'll enjoy reading it for sure. The guy that wrote it used to run the LaserFX.com website. (That site hasn't been updated in years, but it's still got a lot of good info.)

The cloak and dagger theme is mostly because copies of the book are exceedingly rare these days. It's out of print, and there is little hope of getting L. Michal Roberts to authorize a reprinting.

I still have mine as well and it covers the basics of doing shows but,
before he could ever do a re-print, LMR would have to do a major update on it.
It was written in the days of GAS lasers and I think most people here are
using solid state lasers now. I let Keeperx have it for a few weeks to
    digest its contents.

ok, back on the topic this GB is Hot and Ready!

Ihor was fast in preparing these units and they will be ready to ship to you guys in a matter of days. Shipping from Ihor to me came down to $15 each. Without shipping, the GB price, in USD, is:
180/240/300 for Micro/Basic/and Pro units. Add $15 to that for the international shipping, and then decide if you want first class ($3, Priority $4.80, or priority insured ($10) shipping to your place here in the U.S.A.

There are some differences with these controllers from the one pictured before. The control buttons are on the top, labeled, and colored now. Also the external power option is via USB only now. I'm looking for some 5V USB wall-wart adapters that are decently made, and see some on ebay for very cheap that should be tested.

    Pics coming later.

PM me for payment info and/or discussion..
