    Default Fuji Finepix S5700

Im looking to upgrade my little digital camera that has given me some surprisingly good pictures in the past. I have used the S5700 at work and at college and I like the look and feel of it, im really interested now I found them on eBay for £80.

Main things I am looking for though is the zoom which I know is 10x, a heck of a lot better than my digital cameras 4x, and manual exposure settings.

Which brings me to a question... Does anyone have this camera? Can you tell me what the maximum manual exposure setting is? My current digital camera can only take 8 second exposures which is not good enough to capture many stars or anything.

Yep, I have one and the later model S9600.
I think it can go right down to "bulb", i.e. as long as you have the shutter button pressed it stays open. I know the S9600 does and I am sure the S5700 did.
Loved the camera thats why I upgraded it. My brother is happily using it at the moment.

A tip if you get it, get the fastest speed rechargeable batteries you can, 2200 or faster, you won't regret it as the time for next shot is soooo much quicker.

    Link to the manual http://www.siue.edu/lovejoylibrary/a...TAL_CAMERA.pdf

    Hope that helps,

EDIT:- Just read the manual and it says 4 seconds shutter time !!!!!!!!
