Most are black and white at 1000fps, but fascinating never-the-less. My favorites are jello drop, and banana in a rat trap.

They are great aren't they. All I can claim to own is a set of Nixie tubes, and I still have not done anything with them.. His collection of stuff seems better then that London Science Museum!
ive been doing this for weeks ....

all the best ... Karl
How much did you pay for that camera, Karl? From the specs, it looks pretty darn cool!
Adam
£270 from Pixmania.com incl an 8 gig hi speed SD card and case
ok its not just a toy for me .... im using it for work also ... so its more of a tool ...
we have high speed wrapping machines and you can set the camera in hi speed pre record mode and if anything goes wrong you can hit the button and it has recorded 5 seconds before the fault and after also
plus it has lots of other usefull features
i mentioned to rob last week that i would like to test it out on the ilda test frame to see the actual scann and blanking etc in slo mo
all the best ... Karl
That's pretty reasonable! Wonder if I can convince my wife that I need yet another camera for "research purposes"?
Yeah, at 1000 frames per second, that works out to 30 points per exposure, so some artwork would be kinda cool to view. It's still not fast enough to capture the ballistic circle in the center of the ILDA test pattern though (that's just 36 points total for all three revolutions).
Man - I tell you... If I had this camera, the first thing I'd do is shoot some video of my paintball gun throwing ropes of paint...

Just got a chance to preview some of the videos.. nice find..

redlake motionscopes show up on ebay. I miss the one I worked on , 2000 FPS, and 4000 FPS streak mode. Straight to hard drive.
What I really miss is the thermal imager.
