Can you describe what happens? Is there an error message?
    What DAC do you use?

    etc...

It won't run on windows XP, hosted by a Mac (VM Fusion)
I tried it on other windows desktops, no problem.

At the Haarlem PL meet it was mentioned that this program would not run properly on a QM.Net while it does run properly on a PCI QM card.

I would like to sort out these problems and get it working on a .NET version as well.

So any problem (and success) reports on this program are welcomed.

    Hi Zoof,

Thanks from a fellow Dutchman for the excellent work!
I just joined PL today after looking for a way to go from raster to vector to ILDA. Already read tons of information and usefull stuff from other members.

After running your program i receive an error.
I am running Windows Vista x64, 12GB RAM, no pagefile, SSD bootdisk and i suspect the error has something to do with Visual C.

This is the error message i receive:

And when i look in the the application Log i see:

    I already tried:
    Rebooting (duh)
    Running it as Administrator
Running it in compatibility mode (as Win95, Win98, Win2000 and WinXP SP2)

All to no avail... It seems from the second screen that it's build specifically for Win32 ? I hope you can help me out here.

    Kind regards,

    Hi Dimitri,

First of all: welcome to PL!

sorry to see it fail like that. I must admit that it was never tested on vista nor a 64 machine.
Maybe I can compile a 64bit vesion... let me look into it.

    thanks for the feedback.

    Default Inkscape Version

    Hi all,

I have been using the OLA program a little bit. I moved to a different laptop and found I could not convert any SVG files. I also tried loading ones that do work in Inkscape and resaving them and they do not work either.

I think the new versions (0.47) of Inkscape do not work with OLA. I went back and downlaoded version .44 and it works well. To find previous versions of Inkscape go here:

This problem has come up with other users as well.
OLA was designed around inkscape .46
Inkscape 0.47 uses more of the SVG definition that inkscape 0.46 and i haven't had the time to update this (but hey, its free!). So best to stick to inskscape 0.46 for OLA use.

Not sure what improvements later versions bring.
But I like 0.46 better in the way it allows me to save eps files that I use for diagrams and figures.

    cheers, M.
