FDA Crackdown?

Just read this on another forum, rather interesting. This is certainly not a letter any of us would want to receive in the mail.

hrm.. if their selling KITS, they are not selling completed lasers.
im not sure the FDA can do anything unless by selling the complete kit, it is considered a single unit.

easy work around is to sell the drivers and modules and diodes separately.

dont bet your life on it. Kits are treated just like working lasers.

I'm not sure what the guy was selling, laser pointers I would guess. Anyway, it will be interesting to see how it works out. Seems a little concerning to me...

Hey laserman, I was going to reply over there, but I'll just do it here:

Surprised about watermark, mine were very large about 3" in diameter, not centered but very evident.

I have several letters from them and less than half had a watermark, and the only thing readable in the watermark is "cotton", so it just looks like resume paper to me. Did they previously have a design in thier watermark?

the watermark on my letters is the same eagle on the back o fhte dollar bill with 1985 underneith it about 3" in diameter. You can not escape the blue they use for their letterhead, I noticed it right away as well as the date stamp hand stamped, those goobers over there think it was fake...they have no idea the wrath that will come down on their heads.
