Well, it depends on what sort of water treatment technology you're talking about.Scum does usually float to the top of a clarifier, but in a dissolved-air floatation unit (DAF), it's the sludge that floats to the top. Neither one is particularly savory though - certainly nothing like cream!
Back on topic, things are getting out of hand a bit. We are fortunate to have some more experienced members here now (Pat, raise your hand), and I'd really rather read their answers to technical questions than simple copy-paste answers that someone found after 30 seconds with Google...
It's one thing if you absolutely know the answer.It's quite another if you just post the first thing you found on google simply to be one of the first people to answer the question.
At least if you're going to do that, list your sources and preface the answer with the disclaimer that you don't know for sure that it's right. Fair enough?
