One of the original reasons for the ILDA test pattern and tuning is so that shared art can be optimized and look good on everyone's projector. Most people tune their galvos to the circle/square properly, and then tune the blanking at the top with a combination of hardware and blanking point offsets in their show display software. So, in theory at least, one should be able to share frames optimized for 30k and have others appreciate it. Even if others have 20k scanners, they should look right after the point rate is turned to 20k instead of 30k on their DAC.
