    Default Joystick use in LivePro

    Hey fellow Laserists,
I am looking for help using a joystick to control a DMX moving mirror device in LivePro.
    I posted here http://www.pangolin.com/ubb/showflat...=0&page=0#2257

Also looking for some support on using multi MIDI controllers within LivePro.

Anyone with a bit of time and willing to email and or call?

One more thing, any word on the new ver of Pangolin 5.0 being released?

    Hey Kyle,

If it is Pangolin Live Pro, I can probably help...

There is a DMX moving head control in Live Pro which might be ideal for your DMX moving mirror... I have a lot of experience configuring Novation controllers in Live Pro and if you have a Novation, I can probably send you a ready built config...

    Cheers

Each QM2000 card can only support DMX in OR DMX out, not both at the same time.
    If you're getting the message:
After I do that I get a pop up bubble in the lower right of the screen stating that pangolin cannot see DMX in so it is disabled after clicking “Play”
as from your Pangolin laser chat post.
This means that Livepro is expecting DMX input, whereas it needs to be set up as DMX output to control your moving mirrors.
Check that the DMX input button on the top row is not pushed in, also in "enviroment/DMX settings" menu that DMX input is disabled.
Also in LD2000 there's some DMX settings - make sure that DMX is enabled for output (there's two choices - all cards output DMX or card 1 input , the rest of the connected cards output).
Also make sure that the QM2000 is outputting 512 chanels, with a start code of 0, and default timing parameters. If it all looks as though it should be working, try increasing some of the timing parameters.

    Hope this helps.....
