No, I just prefer it when negative people like you don't turn up to my shows.

The truth is, most laser shows are live these days. That's how you've got to be when you're playing with a DJ who may be somewhere between unpredictable and completely random.

You know something, I never had anyone in four years of 12 to 15 shows a week that that was negative. Does it happen to you a lot?

I'm negative? Maybe if you took the chip off your shoulder we could talk... Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away.

Nope. Then again I'm not doing laser shows- the lasers are only a small part of what I do as a visualist. Doing fifteen shows a week? No wonder you got jaded. We do two or three a month, but admittedly some of them last in excess of twelve hours.

    I'm negative?
Oh yeah everything was better in the old days all these kids these days do is press buttons.

It's an honest question - where is somebody doing a show that's worth traveling to see?

Pittsburgh's science center is as live as it gets, and raves are almost always live. Karl Rothweiler at Laserwizadry does live control as well. I know, I got him the abstract console he uses.

thats what i thought the -ist meant. as in; a pianist is someone who plays the piano, an artist is someone who creates art, a laserist is someone who works with lasers.

The Laser 101 show describes a laserist as A laser-artist: one who makes art with lasers. Not just works with them.

an artist that works with paint is a painter an artist that sculpts is a sculptor, an artist that acts is a actor, so an artist that works with lasers is a laser-er
