Myself, NONE,,,, but my friends in the cleveland area have been for YEARS with NO PROBLEMS & They have OVER Powered Lasever Laser units, Just Like Me!!! ..... I'll put money on it that my lasers are out putting more then rated

I think maybe a few of you guys have just had a cupple of bad eggs,, Did you send it in for warranty repair? or was it out of warranty?

    Cool

Bully for you. You said that you KNOW that ALL Lasever lasers output more than their rated power. That is clearly BULLSHIT. There are several examples here on PL that date all the way back to 2006 which detail the many problems that Lasever lasers have had. Apparently you never bothered to read those posts.

Just because you and a few pals of yours in "the Cleveland area" have had success with your units does not mean that many, *many* others have not. Read some of the posts here on PL, from people all over the world, before you ever try to speak for an entire company's reliability.

As for my Lasever units that failed, yes they were sent back to China under warranty. One of them went back 3 times. I got really tired of paying the shipping charges too.

Yes, it's been working now for nearly a year now, so one would hope that the problem has been fixed - at least with the blue lasers. However, after I received my blue laser back from Lasever, I ordered a new green from them, and it died as soon as I powered it up. Not a great indicator of quality control, is it? The replacement laser they sent me has been working fine, but once again, I had to mail a Lasever unit back to China (on my own dime) to get it fixed.

I have a question for you: Do you own a calibrated power meter? And if so, have you tested your lasers with it? Because I own a calibrated Lasercheck, plus two other thermal meters. All three are in agreement within a few percent. I can back up all of my posts re: Lasever units and their power loss with hard data. Furthermore, I am not one to make rash statements about a product unless I've personally tested it.

And finally, if you need to hear from a commercial company that has been doing professional laser shows, I suggest you search this forum for posts by "Dreambeamz" with the word "Lasever" in them. You'll be able to read all about his problems with his Lasever red *and* blue lasers. And he is not the only one who has posted about these problems... DZ, AllThatWhichIs, SBK, Jem, MechEng3, Astroguy, Dr Laser, Dave, and Da2001 have all reported problems with Lasever units. (Do the search and read for yourself. I suggest you start with this thread.)

So you see, there *is* a problem. Just because your pals "in the Cleveland area" haven't experienced them doesn't mean the problem doesn't exist. You need to broaden your horizons a bit.

are you buying this? or are any of you going to?? NOPE.... maybe if I give it away for $450 or $350.... This is so crazy, but for as much failure that is said to happen, there is alot of PL members that have offered $350-$450 for a peice of SH*$ as you guys have put it...... .....

U Know The last time I looked I thought I listed this Blue Lasver Laser in BUY/SELL/TRADE, NotProduct Review

If you hadn't gone overboard with your listing, none of this would have happened. You'll notice I didn't even post in this thread until you made your claim that you knew for a fact that ALL Lasever lasers made more than their rated power. (Emphasis is yours, btw) When you said that, I stepped in to correct you.

If you have a problem with that, then stop posting bullshit!

As for the value of the laser, $450 seems about right - considering the problems with Lasever. And yeah, several people offered you that amount or a little less. But you wanted $600, and you started making bullshit claims to try to justify it. Looks like no one is dumb enough to pay that much for a used Lasever though - not that I blame anyone.

Yes, this guys an asshole like so many other have turned on PL. I tried to be nice and PM him and explain my reasoning. Instead I got back a snooty reply, which I could give a shit about but since he said I could piss on his parade in the PM I sure will oblige. He is just extremely naïve and said that because we were offering anything for the laser it must be good. What he doesn’t understand is I am in the market for a 473nm 100mw right now but even for $350 to $450 I would not buy it……. EVER. However, someone like mecheng3 would be happy to purchase these types of lasers to fix them up, add a tec to make them last longer etc. He understands how to repair blue solid state lasers better than most anyone else on the forum.

Adam is correct; Lasever blues hardly came over powered. Over driven, sure but definitely not over powered. If you did get an over powered 473nm then your expected lifetime should be less than 100 hours. We have sent them for warranty repair, but after so many times eventually the warranty time period ran out. Not to mention the $70 shipping charge each time it had to be sent back.

$350 to $450 is the maximum you will get from anyone on this forum or probably the world. You don’t believe it, fine but just shut the fuck up and put it on ebay. After your sale of $600+ plus shipping fails you just sit in your corner and go fuck yourself back. And if you don’t do it your still fucking yourself because as they say “Procrastination is like Masturbation, its fun until you realize your fucking yourself.

Next time look harder and maybe you will not get as confused

A long thread between a ton of PL members that not only had a bad lasever, they had a case of a rouge company who would not respond to warranty request but would respond to sales request so people have to trick David Wu into answering their e-mails

Look to see how peoples "new design" lasever is holding up
    http://www.photonlexicon.com/forums/...ead.php?t=4100

You can look at the ratio of loss I took on my 473nm, keep in mind this was years ago when lasers were still worth more.

I hadnt yet started talking about your personal life but since you went down that road, I dont spend my time looking at stuff on the internet like psychedelic xbox 360 wireless controller. Sounds like someones been dipping it to too much acid

Anyhow, anytime you start posting an item up for sale in a public discusion forum, be prepared to learn good and bad things about your product. This is how it works, Unfortunately the product you are trying to sell is so bad that no one has stepped forward with anything good to say except for you.

Awesomely enough, a quick google search of your user name reveals this thread 6 listings down. Who knows, bad publicity could always be considered good publicity so you get some free advertising to help you in your quest.
