    It's all about the 3 minute "everything's great" no need to actualy listen to it properly, destined to be musak played in a supermarket, inoffensive forgotten in a week mainstream cashcow crap. IMHO.

    Then again what do I know? But rest assured, apart from 2 or 3 past exceptions that I can think of (Abba being one); it's not the kind of material that people will be running to the dance floor for in 20 years.

    I believe he quit in a stance against Eastern Bloc "cheating" - the fact that all the Eastern Bloc countries have allegedly always voted for each irrespective of how good their songs were just to try to ensure an Eastern Bloc country won it.
