    No, I meant how you get 70 degrees. Honestly I have a bit of trouble believing this figure, especially with the distance between the X and Y mirrors. Please repeat the tests and measure the distance from the scanner to the screen, and the scan width across the screen.

    Hi Bill

    I never tried the 70 degrees its probably not even possible
    but those are noted as the max scan angle by medialas in the spec sheet
    Do not look into laser with remaining eye
    Need laser repair contact me !!!!!!

    Well take another look at your post. On May 19, you wrote "but ive tested the ilda patern at 70 degrees and 15k and that stil looked great." I was only wondering about this particular remark because I find it hard to believe that this scanner would "still look great" at 70 degrees.

    By the way, on a theoretical basis, the Cambridge 6800 shaft can actually be rotated through an optical angle nearly 100 degrees. The position sensor will work beyond 80 degrees. But the scanner amp itself is configured to only exercise the scanners through a 60 degree optical angle.

    A spec of 70 degrees doesn't really do the industry much good if the user can't really take advantage of this in real life...

    i do have a picture of that someone but could not fit the entire patern on the picture (small room)

    lol that was a typo fixed it ive tested it at 40 degrees but not at 70
    Do not look into laser with remaining eye
