How about the weekend of June 20-21?

Have a campout that weekend so I'm out.

If we schedule it to conflict with Burning Man we can pick up a venue for cheap :-)

20-21 should work for me, but I want to make sure everyone can go. I'm pretty flexible.

Burning man sucks, don't go (been three times, totally done with it now.)

I definitely can't do may 26-jun 2 (in hawaii with my honey), jun 20-21 (campout) or 27th (I'm DJing for SF Pride) , or jul 17-19th (another campout).

so... I have a possible space (it's actually in Oakland) that has a gobsmackingly huge space combined with very liberal neighbours and an industrial (literally) power supply including 3-phase. Anyone else been to NIMBYspace?

So let's look at doing something earlier then later in the summer. Lets make a list of when people are not available.

Pat, I expect that Cobra to be here

I am not available till at least June 11th.
Jas is not around: May 26-Jun 2, Jun 21, 22, 27 or Jul 17-19

This leaves the weekends of June 13-14, July 4-5, 11-12, 25-26

I think June 13-14 may be a little too soon.

me- well it is ___K dollars.

Buyer- WHAT!!!!! I can go buy an old POS V-Burner off of ebay for like $5.00, why would I pay so much for that?

me- because...(i list about 500 reasons)

Buyer- Well that is not enough good reasons.

me- well then go buy that POS that smells like old burned v-warts and re build it.

Buyer- Well Fine!...I will! (he goes off to get the POS) Finally gets it in...

me- patiently wait...

Buyer- Makes a post on all forums..."does anyone know how to turn on a POS V-burner?"

Me- snicker while lurking in the back ground- (everyone on forums tells them to call me)

Buyer- Hey Pat, How do you (insert one of 500 questions here)

Me- Turning over egg timer on desk that registers 15 minute intervals, Thinking to himself...WHY ME???

Buyer- makes mistake after mistake after mistake

Me- selling spare parts and more spare parts

Buyer- "how come spare parts are so expensive?"

Me- *shakes head back and forth*
