Question 4th of July / Patriotic theme shows

I'm thinking about adding lasers to the fireworks this year.

Does anyone have any recommendations for suitable 4th of July / Patriotic theme shows that might fit the occasion? I would need something compatible with the LD2000.
I'm primarily interested in RGB graphics shows - I don't have quite enough juice to power a decent backyard beam show....yet

    Thanks!

How about a cooperative effort, where everyone here goes on a scavenger hunt for images that associate well with a particular line-
I will volunteer for this line: "And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air"
I'm pretty sure I have some good ones for those.
Any other takers? If so, highlight the line you want, and we can start a melting pot out on the FTP.
Someone also needs to volunteer to assemble it all!

Oh, say can you see by the dawn's early light
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars thru the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming?
And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there.
Oh, say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

    Sure!
The theme fits - and you can never have too much Hendrix!

It will be interesting to see how many many participants jump in on this!

Default That would be great with the talent..........

    MikkoJay,
I think that's a great idea..........with all the talent this forum has. Which is also easy for me to say since I would be a spectator instead of an operator. I hope you get a lot of POSITIVE response. Cat

Not my work, but the freeware US flags are here:

    half way down the page.

The US Flag is actually one of the hardest things to do in laser.

You may already be aware of this but Mike Dunn from Firstlight laser productions sells a couple patriotic modules...

I have already bought most of them on ADAT and am very happy wth them.. He does offer them on LD2000

    http://www.firstlight-laser.com/library.html

Very graphic intensive modules.. but still reasonably priced

Interesting you should mention that - I just received an e-mail from Mike with links to the previews of the Patriotic modules! I have acquired a few of his other modules (Christmas, various "Classic Rock" artists ) and am quite happy with his work! Good stuff!!

For all who chimed in on this thread - thanks for your interest and participation! I hope mikkojay's idea takes hold and this turns into a community effort! Due to business travels, I probably won't have much time to contribute until after the holiday has already passed, but it will still be cool to watch and see what this turns in to!

    Thanks!!
