Hmm I don't think it will payback the effort.

If you cool them from 25 degrees celcius down to 15 degrees you are lucky if you go from 660nm to 655nm and you will win a tyny bit in brightness.

If you just overdrive them a little bit lets say from 200mW to 225mW you will have 100mW more power and this will be more usable I think.

I see your point, but 655 is about 20% brighter than 660, also; overdriving the diode = more heat = probably 665nm? Just my thinking, I am no diode expert.
