    Red face CADA-MOD ADAT question

    Some background..

I have been playing shows on my ADAT and have been noticing for awhile that some segments of images are like dim ghost or completely non existent. I am assuming that when the graphic work has various shading my modulation is having trouble working at low input levels..

After finishing up some new upgrades on my projector I now have an AOM for my argon... my new laserwave for my red and an AXIZ YAG for my green... I learned last night that my YAG has horrible analog modulation... almost TTL.

I now have a 5 volt analog DMX board that I can manually control intensity at my console. The Red Laserwave appears to have good linear modulation... The AOM seems like it doesn’t start to turn on until 1-2 volts (Still has good variable adjust)
The AXIZ YAG seems to light up only at 3volts or so and not much variability.

I do have diodes for each of the (+) inputs from the ADAT and the DMX card... I did this so not to cross talk the inputs from either source.

I guess I am losing 0.7 volts from the diodes correct? Any input from the ADAT or DMX card less than 1 volt will show up as 0 volts at the input of the laser?

    My main questions.....

I got my manual out last night for the CADA-MOD board.... There are some gain and offset adjust...
Will adjusting the DC offset help with this problem? Has anyone on the Forum done this before?
    Is it recommended? Common problem?

The blocking diodes ought to be a sticky here at PL.

My proposed active nearly lossless diode with common parts or use a schottkey diode, the forward V for a schottkey is .28 to .32

    See attached.
