650nm 800mw need some help

well i just got this laser and it came with no docs so my question is does this look like it runs on ac

it says
Power Supply(80～260VA)

but it only has a red and a black wire to me i would think that is dc but it is china so who knows
no for real who knows

and i have seen laser that take ac right in and some that had a wallwart

and is black or red neutral or live

Yes that is correct. You just need to connect the red and black wire. Green is for ground (and it looks like this laser doesn't have that).
Connect the thicker set of wires to power. Black is usually neutral and red is usually live.

Would be nice to hear what kind of power you get out from that.

I have the excact same laser. And it has stoped producing 800mW a long time agoo.

I have sent it away for replacement in the warranty. so that is good.

My Beam was terrible so if you get it up and running some pics of the beam/dot would be cool to see,
