Though if it is a serial number; they haven't manufactured many?

Scrub that, I've just opened a brand new set of 20k's I had sat on my desk; they're labeled 0077X (both galvos).

    Who knows?

    Hi Chaps,
Thanks for all that! Just to clarify, got a replacement galvo marked 000015x which I didn't like the look of. Originals marked 000035 so wondered if they shipped wrong unit. Informed by laserworld that 0000## refers to the scanner set id, not the speed, so just wanted to see what anyone else had on here could advise.

Doc- looking for good oldschool dj out here for the 20th if yr up for it. No money, but we'll show you a good time pm if interested!

    Cheers

Why dont you just by them direct from china and miss out the middle man.

Do you know about the German scam on products?

    Scam 1
An item is shipped over from china and then a sticker is put on that product that has
" Made in Germany " Its very true, indeed the sticker is made in Germany.

    Scam 2
The product is shipped in bulk from china in parts/kits/ikea style then assembled in Germany, this also conforms to being "made in Germany".

    Scam 3
The products are sent to Germany as OEM parts then silk screen printed to look european.

This is illegal in the EU. If you suspect that someone is doing this, you should report them to the relevant Trading Standards body.

We've seen how those paragons of prevarication run their business without fear of any comeback from the relevant trading standards.

It's a sad fact of life that most folks (and even companies) do not act honourably () which makes it even more refreshing when you find someone who does.
