I did not mean it would be easy as livequick :P. And i understand that there will be differences. I was on the PL user meeting in Amsterdam so i know what livequick (until so far) can do.

Its more of an question that i want all the latest features, our customers will eventually want the latest effects. That's separates us from the "low budged" event market. If beyond will stretch with features far beyond LD2000, its something that we "pro's" have to consider. Cause the only way to stay on "top" of the market is that we have and present the most spectacular shows as we can.

So in short terms :P , will beyond give us more features?

And you say, LD2000 will stay around for quite a while besides Beyond, Will LD2000 be developed any further or will the programming of LD2000 come to an hold and go to bug-fix only mode.

Bill, is there anywhere online that LiveQUICK workspaces can be downloaded from?

    Thanks
    Jim

Sorry Jim I misread your previous post and posted info for the wrong software which is why I've now removed that post.

I have a Livequick Workspace but can't give it to you unless someone from Pangolin confirms that you have purchased a FB3 otherwise for all I know you could have just downloaded a copy off your own back (I'm sure you didn't and wouldn't) but I want to make sure I do the right thing by Pangolin here. Hope you understand.

BTW in your downloaded copy have you checked the workspaces folder for a file with the extension .sws (if you look through livequick itself, it states the extension to be .lwq but it is the same file)? that's your workspace file. In case its got misplaced, this is what it looks like:

I have nothing in any of the associated folders. No sws files at all. I don't have an FB3 as of yet but its on the cards. I am just trying to get my liveQUICK sorted out before it turns up.

That's probably why Jim. Pangolin seem to hide everything at system level (I don't mean hidden folders I mean coded away). Most folders for the FB3 software appear empty but I'm betting their not. This probably means the file you're after is there also somewhere but not visible, and even if you could make it visible, I'd bet it wouldn't be accessible. I guess this will probably resolve itself once you have a licence key installed in the other software.

Right. We generally only have EXE downloadable from the web. You should already have workspaces of interest. If not, write to me directly.

Any news when QuickShow will be able to output to laser hardware?

I have been playing around in it and it is, quite honestly, frikkin awesome!

Any chance it'll be released before the 29th of August? My school has asked me if I could write some text on the side of their building, but they asked if a clock was also possible, and QuickShow seems to have a pretty nice clock feature

EDIT: I notice QS has a DMX tab down the bottom, does the FB3 also have DMX out or is that for another piece of hardware?

Ah cool, so it'd work with my DMX USB Pro?

    Awesome!
