Laser Warning Mamba 2.0 Now Available

Mamba 2.0 Now Comes with 30+ Free Laser Shows!

The new Mamba 2.0 laser show software is finally here! Many things have changed since the last release of Mamba Black software, and we are pleased to announce, that Mamba 2.0 has been drastically changed in the internal code, but stays the same in the user interface, for full downwards compatibility. Many code segments have been rewritten and replaced by entirely new and fast code. Many new powerful features have been added, including an entirely new look to the multiple user interface skins. The user has the ability to chose from more than 30 different skins, while the basic layout of Mamba stays the same.

Based on the well known and top selling Mamba Black software, Mamba 2.0 continues with the same ease of use, the same style of handling arrangement, and full downward compatibility, but many new, exciting and powerful features!

Don't think you get the Free shows for 120 Euro download version, I think they come with the 150 Euro CD version.

Like you I am going keeping my money until something more substantial appears in the software, or I take the plunge to some form of Pango software/hardware..

Only of use if you have a DMX enabled DAC and the desire to use DMX - not of benefit to all

Appears to be a slightly extended version of the old one

This is not the brand new feature packed app that every one was waiting for - we have heard all along the ML will be holding back new features until 2.0 so I think most hangers on were expecting lots of new goodies that we can all use/benefit from right from the off. That has not happened. Andre says that 2.0 will facilitate quicker easier additions of new features and hence smoother rollout but I doubt this is enough to entice parting of cash right now. Personally I think most who have been waiting will now migrate, and though I like many have waited a long time for 2.0 - I think it would have been better if we had waited longer still and seen a feature rich upgrade for the money.

    Default a gift

    for all Mamba Black users....

I have used the attached bitmap as a guide for some time now to assist me in getting things neatly in the editor frame. Set this as the background for your frame and then set the grid distance value to 256 in the general settings menu and hey presto with a push of the ctrl key you have a snap to grid function.
works in all versions that have the ctrl grid doofah

Would it not be great if this bmp would appear automagical, if one would press ctrl, and disappear when released ?
