    Default FB3 intensity

I got a FB3 that I can figure out the intensity problem. I have a green laser from laserwave @ 300mw
If I set the intensity between 1% to xxx% in FB3 software, it still runs at 100% power.
The dipswitches is set in right possition on the laserdriver.
From the laserdriver the analog wires is used.
Have tried to connect the pin 3 and 16(ground) still at 100% power
and pin 6 and 19(ground) , still at 100% power

    any ideas why this happends?

hmm i run mine off the red channel and set the settings to single color laser and it works fine.

do you by any chance have a adjustable psu you can hook to the lasers modulation wires and see if it changes when you go from 0-5v's?

I know you said the switch was set ok; but has the TTL switch been knocked on?
I have both of mine set to the right.

i this the "known issue " where some of the older FB3 boards are single ended only ..to get full anolgue control you need to purchase a "differentail board" direct from pangolin ?

AFAIK, the intensity is only a TTL output on the FB3. Use one of the color channels to get around this problem

how old is your FB3? Mine has "analog" blanking outputs. your laser is blanking, right? did you try connecting to the ttl input on your laser? I have a 100mw 473 from LW, and it has two inputs, one ttl, one analog, though that is the simplest solution, and it sounds like you already tried it.
can you use the intensity setting in the control software to fade the laser light up and down, but it only blanks during playback?
