Just cause I know you guys love guts and what not, I present to you, a great 2.5W laser cavity picture! The beam path is labeled. The final component before the OC is the KTP.

Here is another picture with the cavity components shown. The system is pretty efficient using only 20W of input for 2.5 watts of output.

Nice post.
Thanks for taking the time...
Now that's my kind of cavity! .... These kind suck....
Is that q-switched?
Full CW 2.5 watts multimode but polarized meaning I can combine 2 of them
Oh and Lasernerd, thanks for the tags!

Let's see it lase! Do you have the PS?Very nice!
I do have the power supply. The problem is, it takes TONS of interlocks and signals and whatnot and I have not been able to get it to lase yet. I am working on something with DrLava to use a flexmod setup to power it.

Probably gonna need 25A to strike that diode... then you have the cavity controls. Does tha KTP have an oven? Looks tiny! What is the dimentions of that platform? You west coast guys get the coolest stuff.
Yeah, this diode makes 20W (what I need) at 23.6A. The KTP appears to have an oven, but I think I can pulse the laser with no problems. It appears to be 2x2x6-10mm. The entire head is like 3" x 6" but the base plate is slightly larger due to the requirement to mount another component to it.
