Talking A good day at work

My manager has decided I need to learn how marine radar function, as we are about to start repairing these at work. To that end, he requested I be at the local marina at 1.00 pm, as he has booked me an afternoon sailing on this.

Its £550K worth of Fairline Targa 47.

We managed to get it up to 34.6 knots
It had a fridge full of beer.

We burnt over £300 of diesel in 2 1/2 hours and only traveled 38 miles.

You need to convince him you need to learn about lasers just in case any customers have a party on deck.

Tell him a 1 watt white light and a couple of greenies to play around with should suffice.

Sounds like a cool manager and a great time. Thinking of all that drag, you have to admit this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:US...w_(AGEH-1).jpg

is a nice ride, powered during 'flight' by two jet engines.

    Cool

I've always been partial to this little lady:

230 mph on the water is *really* freakin' fast... Alas, I'll never get to experience that.

I have been up to around 80 mph in one of these though:

My father had one for about a year and a half. (Baja 302) Nice boat... Twin 454's making nearly 400 HP each with SS thru-hull exhaust. The sound alone worked better than Viagra! At full throttle you burned through 160 gallons of fuel in 80 minutes. (Yeah, 2 gallons per minute!)

    No.

I was wondering if I should file a grievance report. I intently studied all the marketing pictures of the boat on the manufacturers web site and I was strongly led to believe there would be bikini babes on the sun loungers.

very nice day, i had a ex employee co worker type guy try and tell me back in washington he went knee boarding as fast as 90 mphs.

we used to always call him out for lying to us because he said it was on a ski boat.

    What a tit.
Surely hitting the water at that speed would be equal to hitting a brick wall.
i.e. bones broken, brain damage etc.
Oh wait, that last bit was already evident.
