It's not me who has the problem.
It's the numpties with a bit of braid on their shoulder and the God complexes.

youre a funny funny dude. but sometimes i think you may take things a *tad* too far. we all know our customs agents or "rubber stamp desk jockeys" (or whatever the heck you were refering to) can be miserable sons of bitches. lol, but doesnt mean our country sucks!

come on man. i just left your country, met PLENTY of miserable fux, but dont think your country blows! we have good points, we got bad points.

    love ya bro!

    Thumbs up

But you must realise that us Brits thrive on moaning.
If it was an Olympic sport we'd be World Champs.

Don't take it personally (unless you're a Customs Officer ).

I still have plenty of vitriol left for US Customs, Laserworld, the scumbags who keyed my Omega a few weeks ago and many many more ..........

    Hi Mark;

The number for the Holiday Inn Express is (828) 465-7070. Be sure to mention that you're with the PhotonLexicon group and that you'll be attending SELEM so you'll get the $75 rate. Have a look at this post for more details.

Thumbs up SELEM 2009 Special Guest Update

    Hey folks!

Just a quick message - Both Patrick Murphy and Bill Benner are confirmed for SELEM 2009. (WOOT!)

Patrick will be giving a special presentation on Audience Scanning, and what ILDA is working towards with regard to US legislation for this effect.

Bill is bringing *lots* of stuff to demo for us, including BEYOND, QUICKSHOW, the Pangolin BEAM BRUSH concept, and Version 5 of the LD-2000 software. He'll also be giving a presentation on the new LASORB units, and he may have a few other goodies to share with the group.

Still don't know about Mike Dunn yet though. Will have more info by the end of the week.

Well, sadly it looks like Mr. Dunn isn't going to make it. Aparently his 1 conflict has now turned into 3 conflicts.

On the flip side, I've just added a couple more shows to my arsenal. sigh... I could have had almost 2 more QM2K's if I hadn't spent the money on all these shows...

    18 days until load in!

    Cool

Power cords are always useful; I always bring extras, just in case. We probably won't need your distribution panel, but if you have the room it's always nice to have a spare. We've got the fog situation covered, I think, but again, better safe than sorry. Just don't load yourself down so far that you don't have any room in the car...

I'll be hauling a 4 x 8 trailer up to NC this time, as I won't have room for everything otherwise. (Will probably be bringing the modified HGM5 with the 903 tube, even though I don't have scanners or a PCAOM fitted yet.) So I'll have tons of spare gear with me this time.
