Of course, there are plenty of other hotels up and down I-40, and some of them may be cheaper than the $75 per night that the Holiday Inn Express is charging us. But the Holiday Inn Express is very convenient to the venue, and everyone that stayed there last time said they really liked the place.

The Artist's Cafe isn't open very late... I think they close at 11 or so, which means an after-dinner-party-party would have to be held someplace else anyway. I guess the lobby of the Holiday Inn Express is as good a place as any. (Though last year we did go out to I-hop for breakfast at 2 AM, which was a lot of fun...)

I merely suggested an after party at the Holiday Inn so we could all have a bit of fun distubing someone else this year.

...especially running for our lives to our cars lest we be swept away in the parking lot river! We rarely get rain like that around here.

I also remember thinking the little troupe of wannabe bikers thugs that were eying us all funny getting stranded in the rain was pretty funny too.

Yeah, that note was totally real. We had no idea we were being that loud. As aforementioned, I think it was the ridiculous storm's fault, not ours.

lol, what about husbands and boyfriends? It's funny, It's so automatically assumed it's only guys coming, but I doubt it if there has been a girl at a PL LEM.

IF I'm not in Texas for Uncle Sam that week (still TBD...), the missus and I should be there around that same time....hopefully....

We have reservations at the Trotthouse, but plan on fully partaking in all festivities, regardless of the location...if we're there...

Well, setup is at noon, so probably like 8:00am -maybe 9:00am.

I'll just sit there in that back parking lot and savor the moment for three hours.
