SELEM 2009 Info and Sign-up Thread

I was totally going to bring a gaggle of gogo girls to accent the coordinated beam-shows and all that, but now I'm thinking I should just not do that -what with other ladies around and all. It would probably be awkward.

Oh well, maybe next year.

I now have out patient surgery scheduled for next Thursday with an IV and some anesthesia to boot.

Yeah, we'll try to keep the heavy lifting to a minimum this year. If I screw my back up, Marie will never forgive me. (It's been less than a year since I had my back surgery.) Though Jeff will be there this year as well, just in case!

Holy crap this thing (SELEM) has gotten big in the last couple days!

Surely there's a local bye law that forbids females at a LEM (something about the oestrogens reducing the power levels).
Unless they are dressed in a Nurses uniform and holding a high power laser in a slightly provocative manner of course.

Unfortunately, I will be interested in the 'Live Feed". I tried to make it happen. But I won't be there. Maybe next year.

I was dumb enough to be too important at work. And some of my hourly people cant work if I'm not there. I don't want them losing money because of me. They don't mind losing money because they have a hangover. But we have more work than people, and were behind on almost every schedule. Which is what happens when you have 16 people but need 24.
