I was on google searching for laser-related 'stuff' as I'm sure we all do.

Well... I had recently removed my AdBlock plugin... meaning I see all ads. I did not have any problem with this because 90% of my time (70% of which is here) does not require anything like that...

Please note that I am using a big screen for my computer. What I see in one screen usually takes people a couple scrolls to go through... With that in mind:

Yeah, I agree there is waaaayyyyyyyyy too many ads now. If hosting costs that much, he really needs to look elsewhere, but I bet he's making a nice profit from LPF now ....

thing is ... those ads are so obvious no ones going to click on them so certainly with the google ads .. the incomes likly zilch .... done a bit more skillfully the forum could be more useable and the ads more profitable to everyone ... but hes basically just thrown the code in anywhere he could ...
