Title sound familiar?
That's right I'm disgusted, I'm disgusted because I don't own multiple QM2000's. Before the eyes start rolling out of your heads, read on...
Buffo had been really pushing the idea of networking the many projectors together at FLEM, well, this time, we linked 5 or 6 projectors together, over the network. It was neat, no more, "3,2,1" garbage.Just press play on the main console and all projectors play perfectly syncronized. Sounds neat, right? That isn't the best of it, in my opinion. We loaded up the "Above" show and basically had the same thing displaying from each projector. I took a look at the Above show on the time line, which used a total of 5 tracks. Within about a minute, I changed track1 to output to projector X, track 2 to output to projector Z, track 3 to output to projector XYZ and etc. Clicked play, and it was like a new show, now the projectors were doing different things perfectly sync'd to the music, all from the same damn show! Brilliant stuff, kudos to Bill and his team at Pangolin, I don't know how you guys do it, and I don't care to know how you guys do it, but I'm glad you can so I can use it.
To the rest of the folks at FLEM, thank you all for the great time, it was good seeing some new faces and playing with lasers with good friends.![]()
