Default Need cheap / fast / secure way to tilt a projector

I have a projector that is, like many, a brick designed to sit on a level surface. There are a couple of carry handle, but no U bar. In the upcoming gig, the idea was to have this sit centre stage, about 1m above the floor. In my naivete, I figured that, to make sure the beams and patterns don't go near the audience (the venue floor is 0.6m below stage level), I adjusted the zones in LiveQuick. But, try as I might, I simply can't get them high enough, and so I'm finding the need to tilt the projector. Not much budget, not much time (show is on 16th), and it needs to be solid. Suggestions?

    ^^ This

Assuming your output aperture window is large enough.

Failing that, put a piece of wood wedge under the front of the projector to the desired height, then ratchet strap the whole lot (box/flightcase & projector) together.

    Cheap, simple and secure

That sounds elegant! I will look into it. However, I didn't build the projector, so let's assume for the sake of argument that when I dig into the case, it's been glued.

IF UK doors are anything like US doors when installed, your local hardware or DIY store should have what we in the US call "SHIMS" for installing doors. These are long, milled, wood wedges in 10 packs for a few dollars here, and are a riot for this sort of thing.

In fact, I have a gs120 mount that has a tube with a lever that rotates the y-scanner for this purpose.
This lever was supposed to protrude through the front of the projector.
It lets you externally rotate the scanner +/- 15 degrees.

Extremely unlikely - usually just a pinch bolt with an Allen head
