    Default Low volt trigger anyone?

    Hi guys

I'm trying to create a remote turn-on signal for my car amplifier by using a low volt trigger.. problem is i can't buy one here, so now i have to build one.. Does anyone know how i can do this??

I was think of using a simple transistor circuit or a relay..
Basically the circuit takes a speaker signal and uses it to turn on a 12V line to turn on the amp..

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

    hi!

don't you have a trigger cable output on your car stereo or whatever source you use?

usually, any car audio amplifier will have an enable input to connect to this output

It's a factory headunit, so there's no remote turn-on wire... but i have just discovered a secondary fuse box in my boot and i found a 12V that can be used as a signal..
