Any size that I can fit on a carry-on but I would check or ship one if the price was right. I am stuck flying in/out of town gas cost too much to drive ~2800 miles (and flying took 6 days of driving out of play). I am getting all my stuff together tomorrow, power meter, safety glasses for lasers and glass torches (I have to teach lessons later in the week). I am not sure if I can fit a crystalaser but they are sweet, I might bring the dead head just to show off its whole 25mW output optics...

Well it looks like we'll have an air cooled Kr laser to play with too! I just picked up two of them from Slicklasers. They are ILC 5500 series I believe. I got one if them to fire up thanks to my BD-10A, so I think with a quick alignment it should lase without any issues. Now I just need to find some broadband optics for it!!

It's really crappy to think that by the time you all get together and get lasing, I'll still be sitting here at work. Hopefully I'll be on the road by 2pm though!

Is anyone staying at McMenamin's Kennedy School? I'd go for that if I was looking for a hotel.

Otherwise, there are numerous hotels in the area thanks to the airport. If you stay at any of the airport hotels, you're about 5 minutes away.

since I will stay only one night and be in a bed for the majority of the time i will be in a hotel...cheap is better for me..I know I cant afford to stay at McMenamin's here in bend.

I'd recommend one at the airport then. There's one right down the road too.
