BIG LED Timer Display

OK this is not laser related.....

l am looking for a large LED Display panel that has a counter that can be triggered with a Start Button & stopped with a Stop Button.

The general idea is that a person hit`s the Start button & run`s away from the start position & when they reach the end position they hit the Stop Button & the Counter Record`s the time Elapsed.

The LED panel size i reckon size wise around 8 foot by 3 foot

How bright do the numbers need to be?
I would do it in laser if it were me!
You could write a simple program and run it from an ipac controller.
Using laser you could make the display as large or as small as you want (depending on the ambient light I suppose).
Got any more details? What is your budget?
