Default International Shipping, esp UK to US

Does anyone have any suggestions for a carrier on a package going from the UK to the US? Speed is not an issue, and cheap is nice
    Thanks, Mike

Ha! That would be great, but I wouldn't want to put anyone out. The logistics might be more trouble than its worth too, but the concept provides a nice mental image of him standing at the customs luggage inspection with a big green laser beam shooting across the airport teminal. The look on the face of the inspector guy is priceless.

I recently sent some scanners to the US via Fed-Ex booked through parcel2go

I think it was 2kg shipping weight in a 20cm square box and it cost around £35. Got there in about 4 days as I recall.

I guess that's not too horrible, but higher than I had hoped to find.
Thanks for the reply- I would think lots of people would be interested in real-world quotes.

The parcel2go website can do your quote instantly, with options from DHL, UPS and Fed-ex
