Sure is! Welcome to the forum![]()
thank you
just figuring out which software will work for me for the time being till I can afford pangolin.
What do you use the scanner for most? Beam shows, graphics shows, projecting logo's etc?
I have a Pangolin FB3 and it's great, and the live software is quite amazing.
well right now since everything is pre-programmed... I use it for beam shows... I would still like to use it for beam shows and such, just a wee bit more control.
I don't have a need for live stuff right now. but if I could program up, or at least run some pre-done ild files I would be happy :P
I think Pangolin is working on some new show software, but if you can't afford it yet there is others. If you are on a really tight budget, sound card DAC's work with a few software peices, like Spaghetti and Zoof's stuff, but is somewhat unreliable.
I think the easylase would be the next thing up.
what is the pangolin fb3 and what kind of cost is sitting on those?
this may or may not come of use...
but here in the US I do custom painting for a living..
would love to convert some of the twisted stuff I do with paint to laser waves..
here is a pic of a helmet I just finished..
and some pics of my scanner / box and in action

Well depending on which one you get (The bare board, which can be adapted with the DMX daughterboard), or the boxed one. The unboxed FB3 is about $500US.
Nice pics![]()
