    One of those about 6 feet square would make a great sculpture for a nightclub entrance / bar. Thing is reading the cost there, the price for such a huge LED cube would be frightening.

    You could probably get away with a relatively small cube if it was surrounded with interlocking semi-reflective glass sheets, like the classic 'infinity tunnel' effect but in 3D. This would give multiple reflections of the original, and be much cheaper than thousands of LEDs.
