    Laser Warning Beams vibrating?

Hi I'm a DJ from Kansas city. I have neo neon trinity disco series laser at 250mw. I have had this laser for over a year and it's been great. I honestly have had it on fewer than 50 hours. I have only used it at shows and limited the time I have kept It on. I have never dropped it. Last night I showed it to a friend and I noticed the beams on one side were vibrating badly like a mirror was about to give out.(forgive me if I'm not using correct terminology) there is no vibrating coming from within or any noise being made. Just the beams used to be perfect and clear but now are vibrating and fuzzy. Someone know what's up?

    Thanks Brian

All I can think of is that your galvo's are picking up interference somehow. Did you use it on a grounded power plug etc?

I'll try to take a photo or video. I just turned it on and it was perfect fr awhile than started doing it again, it may be power. I'll have to check everything

    Does it happen from cold?

Have seen smaller DMX standalone units do this before when they've been thrashed, the galvos on them go up the kaboozle and they don't draw very clear shapes.

    Lightbulb

It could be the galvos failing from the expoxy heating up. When "cold" they perform OK but as they get warmed up the epoxy loosens up and starts causing the "vibration" in the beam. Pure speculation on my part; video of the issue would be best.

I think it has something to do with power. In my house basement where all my DJ equipment is. When I run all my stuff speakers turntables it does it. But when I run it by it self it's fine. So I honestly think it's just nit getting proper power lol

    Question

Have you tried a ground isolator? Lil plug thing that you plug a three prong plug into and it has only two prongs on the other end that you plug into the outlet.

Chances are your speaker amps etc could be spiking the power and interfering with your ground line.

My jbls peak at a thousand. So about 2000 watts plus all my other equipment. So it seems that is my problem. I just need to run seperate outlets when I use everything
