Hey guys,
Today i received news that my project that was planned for 29th and 30th of august is postponed to September 12 weekend. I will check tomorrow if it absolutely certain that i can have the weekend off. If that is confirmed i want to come to UKLEM !
I really would love to meet you guys in person.
I have to check a lot of prices of boattrips etc (Calais - Dover, Oostende - Dover, Dunkerque- somewhere) and stuff like that.
I could even bring my (still very diverged green laser), hopefully Ledfreak3D has some time coming weekend to help me tune it. This green set doesn't use the Raytrack 35plus scanners, but the cheap scanners i bought of Ebay.
Maybe someone can give me a quick headsup how to tune it, some things about tuning a scanner are unclear for me at this moment (ok that sounds probably very dumb, but if i don't ask i stay dumb....)
@Rob: if my Laserpowermeter arrives before UKLEM, this would be a nice opportunity to come and pick it up in person ? Just a 1000 mile drive, but hey, i get to see some cool lasers and meet the coolest, wisest dudes in the laser business :-)
What's that what i am reading about parking tickets ? Do i need to worry or is it ok to come to UKLEM without being towed ?
Furthermore, there is a list of websites of hotels and such posted.
Does anyone have a recommendation for one ? I just need a bed and a shower.
What times is the UKLEM taking place ? I only see 30th august not a time ?
Are other people coming from afar also already around 29th to have a drink / eat somewhere in the evening ?
My plan is now to leave Saturday early, arrive in the evening, maybe eat out somewhere, sleep, do UKLEM sleep and go back on monday in the morning/afternoon.
But then i need times how late it starts and ends.
End time is also important for choosing a place to sleep, a B&B probably won't be happy if i enter very late (if it ends late).
Well lots of questions, hope someone can help me.
Tomorrow will be a big day then, hopefully no other work is placed in that weekend, then i can start planning .... man... i am excited !
