I think a big thanks an a well earned pat on the head should go out to Martin (Pelosh) and Showtacle's equipment - I.e. the Laser Matrix component as it did indeed work flawlesley! It made linking 20 or so lasers together look rather easy.
Well done mate and I really hope you and your equipment can make it to Surfleet in December.

My real job has me training people during the small hours today, so while I am on a break with nothing else to do, I will make a post.
UKLEM 5 was as always a great day out. It's always a pleasure to catch up with you guys and talk lasers all day long.
The first thing I noticed was the quality of the projectors, as LEMs go on, the projectors just keep getting better and better. And more and more powerful, proving what a money pit this hobby really is
There are some really innovative designs cropping up, like Dan's triangular casing and the engineering going into all of these projectors is first class.
The place was a real hive of activity with everyone helping each other solve problems and offering advice. This really is the place to come and learn. It is also great to see visitors from overseas making the effort to join in the fun. Dimitri, it was good to meet you and next time I am in Amsterdam (hopefully December) I'll give you a shout.
The 21 projector hookup was out of this world and looked fantastic. It is not often that you get chance to see such a sight, but what a sight it was. I am guessing there were one or two damaged camera CCD's at the end of that one
Just want to say a big thanks to:
Rob, for organising the whole event and spending most of his day helping others out and rigging the multi laser show.
Bridge, for providing some of the door prizes. I'm very happy with the red PBS and mount.
Jem, for providing the tunes and keeping me amused as he rushed in mad panic to stop the dodgy ones before anyone noticed
And everyone else, just for attending and making UKLEM what it is today.
Roll on Surfleet 5.5, let's beat the record this time...
On another note, this was the first time I have seen Insanity's Monster in a big room and have to say I was very pleased with the result. It was the icing on the cake for me...
Mark
I think it was the icing on the cake for most Mark - truly spectacular colours indeed!!
It seemed to output exactly what you saw it should output on your LivePro screen cues - Thanks for letting me have a go with it all mate![]()

I'm sorry we didn't get to have that chat about the Laser harp build your embarking on. On my arrival at the meet I did mention that I just need to get the electronics sorted for mine. Rob has offered to help with this part of the build but as he is a bussie man I have not been pressing him for a progress report.
The rebuild of my harp is to get rid of the frame with the sensors at the top and instead have just one sensor within the harp it's self.
As and when there is any progress with the electronics I will let you and everyone on PL know how it's going within a new thread.
Have you had a look at the one Steve Hobblie built?
Carl
Hey Carl,
Thanks mate...
I have been asked to help another guy build one, which basically means building it for him
I have looked at Stephens site, but just seeing how others do it as well, before I decide whether or not to take this on...
To be honest, I have enough work of my own to do right now, but if I get the time I'll help him out with the optics/laser side of things...
