Good old laser safety
Nasa and friends do a laser safety video,with plenty of joules and good tips that are timeless. This is way, way, way before dpss, and the NASA engineers spent a lot of taxpayer time researching good target materials. While DATED, nothing in this video is out of date safety wise except the signs and emission indicators and nomographs.

the tracking satellite aircraft avoidance portion was a video shot of me and my crew...that is exactly how we use to be safe during laser operation
