Yeah, even geeks can't live on alcohol alone. So, we gotta eat sometime.

So I got the pulled pork and buns. Does anyone want slaw on/with their BBQ? If so, what kind; vinegar based or mayo based? Any other requests?

Anyone else in driving distance up for bringing food?

Anyhow, I was plannin on makin the slaw to go with the pork and hope no one minds but I usually make it with a mayo&vinegar base and add a little sugar to balance.

BUT..out of curiosity...any of you hot blooded laser geeks like SPICY food? I was going to try out a new recipe for a Hot(as in SPICY) slaw if anyone wants to play guinea pig Made with peppers from our own garden even.
Let me know if y'all are game or not...otherwise I'll make a big 'ole mess of regular slaw.

Well, speaking only for myself, I'm a wimp when it comes to hot food...

However, I think there will be plenty of other members present who don't mind scorching their digestive tract , so maybe the spicy slaw will be a hit after all. Either way, you're making it, so it's your call. If it's too spicy for me, I'll just go to the ice cream parlor for a milkshake to put the flames out!
