    Default Focussing solid state head?

I've got a 532nm head that looks like it could probably be focussed a bit better. There is a knurled ring on the front of the head which looks like it could be used for focussing. I suppose the question is, could I break anything in the process, and is it something that I could/should be doing myself?

By focusing, do you mean collimating?

It's a head the same as the one in this thread, but is more powerful, but with slightly worse beam characteristics. I wondered if it could be improved any.

You can see the ring a bit better in these pics of Jim's projector - mine is out of reach and closed up at the moment, and probably couldn't get a better shot of it

I have two of these heads. Just be careful when you try to rotate the ring by not applying to much force on the ring as I managed to damage the thread on one of mine and now I have a head with no focus ring.
