Judging by the size of the laser head it would suggest a double cavity inside with a PBS. Have you tried to see if this is true checking the output with a PBS losing half the power? Just wanting to know if it was a single cavity or not. Nice laser either way!

I'm very curious about the cavity design as well!!! I just got a 473nm crystal set which should be good for as high as 500mW if it is pumped hard enough, cooled well, and has a good cavity design. I'm just now beginning to machine the components for the cavity, so I'm very curious as to the design of this laser.

You think you're broke? I just got Mike's tuition bill for the fall semester. Would you believe $4,350 + books? Ugh.. Here's hoping the state money covers a good portion of that, or I'll have to sell a kidney to pay the bill!

Still, that's an awesome looking blue laser you've got there, Marc. I'd buy one if I could afford it!

You are correct, Mike. It's actually a pair of lasers combined with a PBS cube. Marc and I talked about it on the phone last week.

    more than that.

its a shame this isnt being used for light show use. client bought it for a medical application.
