Arrow Want to share a room for SELEM 2009? Post here!

Hey people! SELEM 2009 is just around the corner, and a few people have contacted me about sharing rooms to help ease the cost of attending the event, or to allow them to attend at all. For example, Bill Benner was planning to bring Justin (new guy at Pangolin) with him to the event, but all the rooms in the Trotthouse were full, and Bill's room (like mine) only has a single bed, so Justin is out of luck unless he can work out a deal with someone here. (If he can split a room with someone and hitch a ride to and from the hotel, Bill will make sure he's on the plane to Charlotte!) Also, I believe 300Evil is still looking for a place to stay, and Steve-o might be as well...

So, if you're staying in a hotel (or a B&B that has two beds) and you wouldn't mind sharing a room, post a reply here.

    Hey Adam!
Actually all covered here. Platinum has graciously invited me to room up with him at the Holiday Inn.
    Thanks!

Now we're talkin! I am there! Well, maybe not the sheep.... LOL!
Lets see how many projectors and audio equipment we can pack into a single room before the breakers pop.

Na, I'll be on my best behavior and keep the noise level below 40db....
I like Adam's lobby idea. I wonder if they'll allow us to throw down a couple 6 packs in there?

Yeah, but my name is on the master list for the group discount. If we ever want to be able to stay in that place again, we'd better leave the sheep at home!

However, if we want to continue the trash talking (and beer drinking) after hours, I think the hotel lobby would be preferable to someone's room. Don't want to piss off the sleepy travelers who are only there to catch a few zzz's before hitting the road again in the morning! I don't think the staff would mind, so long as we don't get totally out of control...

    Good News Everyone!
I worked it out with Holiday Inn to be able to use their meeting room in the late evening to the early morning 13th through the 17th. So, if we want to regroup and not pack it all in one room, we can now use the meeting room!
